samsung DVD/VCR combo DVD-V530 need schematics

hi.

recently my father asked me to take a look @ his samsung DVD/VCR combo. unit would power up but shut down after about 5 seconds. upon opening it i noticed the motor that ejects the video tape was pulsating, disconecting this motor would allow the unit to run without shutting down,.but none of the buttons on the front would respond except the power button.
The set completly died while testing, the motor is still pulsating though, but nothing on the LED display, when it was working the brightness on the display was also pulsating, anyone had similar problems with this model?
i suspect the PSU may have a problem, but found nothing obvious.

Look at what the unit cost. Sounds like a broken gear which means retiming the unit. Cost vs time.
