Car audio SiemensVDO CDR 500 no search for radio stations

Hi!
Maybe someone can help me. I wanted the radio to search for new stations, so i pressed and held the RDS button. in that moment the radio started a search by itself, and 2 secounds later my command arrived and a new search started. since then the radio is not able to save into the RDS-memory, it always goes into an infinite loop. also you cannot jump through the stations by pressing the left or right arrow, it always starts a new (unsuccessful) search. cutting the current has no effect. even the old stations (1-6) were available. maybe theres a special menu to reset the complete memory in the radio? or is there something like a gold cap in the radio that i can discharge?
the receiving of the radio is perfect, no change of quality. also i tried my old Blaupunkt 300, and it saved the stations perfectly.
