Is there a way to stabalize the vacuum in a CRT tube without causing it to implode, I dont want to just fire a gun at it outside and clean up the mess, Im looking for a way to do it safely without breaking to much glass. |

After discharging the high voltage, as an added protection, may want to cover the crt with a blanket before breaking the small fill tube at the very end.
