digital to analog telephone adapter

I have voip at my home and therefore a digital phone line. The problem is, I need to dial out with an analog modem, which can't handle a digital phone line. So, I need some sort of telephone plug in adapter/converter so my modem can dial out. I only need to dial out 1, 2, maybe 3 times at most, so I'd like to get it as cheap as I can as long as it works.

I'm in a real bind here. So, any ideas?

What kind of digital telephone line do you have? Is it an ISDN line or do you have a ip telephony service via your internet connection (ethernet, twisted pair)?

In the latter case, you should be able to use an ordinary ip telephony adapter such as those usually supplied by the voip service providers in the days before ip phones became common. A very common model is the Cisco ATA 188, but similar units are built by all major network equipment manufacturers (Netgear, 3Com, D-link and so on).
But note that an analog modem often does not work well on a voip connection due to data compression and latency time issues.

If it is an ISDN line, then most ISDN routers (for instance, the Netgear RT328) are equipped with one or two analog telephone line interfaces.
