I've searched, and haven't quite found any posts with the exact same problem.
The TV powers up fine, but after a minute or several minutes (time varies) the bulb turns off and the power light blinks 5 times. The bulb turns back on after about 30 seconds, and then after a minute or two, it goes out again and the cycle repeats. Audio continues to work fine the entire time.
Bulb problems typically aren't intermittent as I understand it.
Could it be the ballast?
