LCD is okay (I'm assuming) since picture review works (I can view pictures previously taken). However, the 'subject' image no longer appears on the LCD when taking pictures. The camera will still take pictures, but all black since all black is what is seen on LCD prior to taking the picture. All the normal data appears on the LCD (e.g. battery level, number photos remaining, picture mode, etc.). It appears as if no light is getting through the lens (like what happens when you try and take a picture with a camera that has a lens cover). Any idea what part needs replaced? |
