Hitachi 50FX30B

I have a Hitachi 50FX30B projection set. several years ago I replaced the red convergence amp. I now have having an issue of a red blossom at the bottom right of the screen. even with the red drive all the way down I still have the blossom. when I am watching a wide screen picture, where should be black on the bottom right is this bloch of red that I can see some picture movement in if I look real hard. Any Ideas where to start.
