hello fellow techs,

Does anyone have access to the partslist of the X-SUSTAIN board of a Plasma Panel Daewoo Dsp-4210GM with SP-110 chassis?

I found a shortcircuited Mosfet SSH25N40A (QU4) , also in the Gate of this Fet i found a burnt SMD Resistor RCU20.

Does anybody know the value of this resistor, please? It is totally unreadable.

Thanks for any input!
Grtz,
Techx

daewoo say sustain panel has to be replaced as an item!!!!!!! also it often damages psu, picture on these "budget" plasmas is horrible even when they are working correctly.

I know, Gary.....I contacted Daewoo, but since i am not an ASC (Authorised service center) they are not very cooperative.

But i will give it a try anyway, customer is not gonna pay 700 Eur or more for a complete X-sus board. While i could repair it for about 50 Eur on parts.

These ASC's dont even bother to do component level repair anymore, cost of labor too high, they just replace entire boards for lots $$$$$

Since this smd resistor is in the gate of the Fet, i guess it was something like 100 Ohms. Wish someone could give me some feedback though.

Another brand (DAEWOO) i will never again recommend to my costumers.

I miss the days when the schematics with the parts list were inside the TV.
