Have a 6-pin mini DIN connector on the camera, and need to wire the mating connnector (from a 12vDC supply).
Have determined the chassis ground, but am unsure of the rest. Have 76 ohms across the ground pin and 2 separate pins. Open loop on the rest of the pins. Is the safe bet that the two pins reading 76 ohms need the 12vdc? |

It is more likely that the pins with 76 ohms to ground are inputs for horizontal and vertical sync.
The power supply pin has probably a polarity protection diode or something similar in series, so it will appear open circuit to a DMM set for resistance measurement.
Operation manuals for Sony cctv cameras where the connector pinout is described are generally easily available on the web, just spend a few minutes googling for a manual. |
