jvc th-m505 fixed a no power now no bass

I have the same problem. The green power light cuts off a few seconds after I turn it on...seems I need a new power connector replaced in the subwoofer amp. to fix this, but I can get the green light to stay on and have power if I jiggle the cord and try a few times, but now the subwoofer is not working but the other speakers are..I am thinking it is a resister in the amp. The fuses look good. Anyone have any advice to fixing this problem and getting my subwoofer working again? I have it apart now.
