|
|
Gentlemen:
I have four TVs of various sizes and ages. One set, a 19" portable approx. 12 years old, has lost all sound on approx. 1/3 of the channels, but the video is working as it should. The other sets are also working properly. Does this sound like a tuner problem? If so, because of the age of the set, should I just junk the TV?
Thanks for your input,
Jim |

| If set is a stereo sound receiver, make sure its not set to tune SAP (Secondary Audio Progam). Some stations broadcast secondary language on SAP, some broadcast (mono) Main channel or "barker" (announcement), and some broadcast Nothing. |

Damn you're good! That's exactly what was wrong. That's what I get for fumbling with the remote in the dark when you can't see what you're doing. Well, I guess it's good for a few more years.
Thanks again,
Jim |
