I have a 6 yr old Hitachi 51UWX20B Rear Projection TV that was working perfectly until the red recently went out of convergence. Replaced the two STK392-110 ICʼs with two STK392-150 ICʼs, plus a number of resistors. Checked all resistors with a multimeter and all OK.
Initially when I turned power on everything appeared to work. Never had the chance to do a Magicfocus. Within 20 minutes screen went black, and flashing & clicking from D940 green light began on middle circuit board. Red power light on front of TV stayed on continuously. Can't get anything on screen now.
Did I install defective ICs, or is it related to C707 & E994 Pico fuses? Or some other cause?
Appreciate any and all guidance...... |

You have to replace convergence output ic with stk394-160e
