I picked up a Sony Trinitron KV-35V36 and tried to
salvage the G board power supply for my KV-34SL40
but the board is slightly different with an extra connector CN603.
I attempted to repair it in case my 34SL40 was not repairable.
However after replacing Q601 and Q602 (they were shorted)
The power button on the top of this TV does nothing.
Any direction on this would be appreciated.

R607 open for one.
Check horizontal output transistor. Check joints on Horizontal Driver Transformer. |
