Hello Mark,
I saw the message (see below) you posted looking for the JVC MX-D401T service manual. Did you find it?
I'm looking for the identification serial number for the "volume knob" ( I don't know exactly what ithis part is called in English) to repair my sound system.
I took it out ( the volume knob) to buy a replacement but unfortunately I lost it - so now I can't buy it because I don't know the specification serial number for this part. Would you mind sending me this part number? I ask for your help because it really doesn't make sense buying the service manual only for this, and I thought you might be willing to help me out of this tight spot.
