jvc steering remote

does anyone know the voltage protocol to interface with a jvc headunit 3.5mm jack steering remote socket? and is it compatible with equivalent sony remotes that have the same jack? or can a sony steering remote be.. doctored?

No, the Sony and the altered Sony (signal and shift crossed) do not work. For the rest I'm also searching for a way to convert the Sony... to the AVX33
