I did a bad thing and plugged my LR Baggs Venue into a wall wart with the wrong polarity. The preamp needs tip(-) and I plugged it into a tip(+) transformer. Is there any saving this device? How would I go about assessing the damage? |

It all depends. May or may not be too big of a damage depending on the circuit design.
In general, when properly designed, there should be some sort of a protection incorporated in reverse polarity mishaps---Not always though.
You'd have to get inside the unit for further inspection. |
