Hey all, pretty down about this one. Just bought a second hand TV, and I didn't notice it had a defect when I bought it, I should have and now I am stuck with it. Very angry with myself indeed. The defect is rolling vertical white lines on the screen, they are moving fast too, basically I cant even use the thing. It's a nice TV too, when it was working that is. I want to fix the TV myself. I am an expert at microelectronics pcb soldering and would have no problem doing the fix if I had any idea what to do or where to start. Hehe, if anyone has any ideas please tell, I am dying to feel like less of an idiot for buying this TV. [/u]

Are the hum bars on any of the video inputs? Is it on the tuner?
