antique candlestick telephone to uk system

can anyone please help have an antique candlestick telephone and would like to connect to uk modern system the phone has red/white/blue/brown wires comming out of it is this at all possible thanks

I'd suspect red and blue ,or red and white as tip and ring.

I would try the red and the white as the tip and the ring...have never really used these very old antique types.
