This is about SONY analogue/digital TVs If at any time a rescan is done and the progress stops Its because the software is corrupted and can only be done by a authorised Sony agent unfortunately It consists of a PCIM card being slotted in the port at the back of the TV and should take about 5 minuets So the only way is to find a friendly service engineer as all they have to pay for is the journey?
