the problem : tape cassette out on reject cassette.
its happen all time.
have cassete that not do that.
same one help me?

The VCR (on its own or when you press "play") will pull the tape out of the cassette and position it around the video head, etc. If there's a problem in the tape drive (usually involves the "supply" reel), upon "eject," the tape will NOT be pulled back into the cassette.

Usually other function(s) are affected too. I can only recall one machine where "fast forward," "rewind" and "play/record" ALL worked correctly AND tape was hanging from the cassette upon "eject."

Insert another tape and before "ejecting" try ALL functions.

In short, correct the function(s) that are NOT working, and you'll also solve the "eats tape" problem.

sony is the manufacturer, sony have made hundreds of different models, what is the model number
