I assume there is NO AUDIO either. Any Blinking timer light code?

Could be anything from a B-Plus source being missing, the T-Chip (TV processing all in one I.C. - may be CXA series) has a defect, something affecting the communication (I2C) bus between Tuner/micro/EEPROM/T-Chip.

Without a schematic or at least IC numbers ...

CXA1446s IC ive seen it near the tuner. for ur info sir when tv is on i tried to put the tip of my finger on top of that IC ,its cold. could it be possible that it has no DC supply on it? i dont want to try to test it when the unit is on to avoid short ckt .

As good a point as any to start. Here's link to datasheet.

Find the pin on the IC you want to measure. Follow the foil trace away from the IC to another solder joint on same foil trace. You can either measure at this new point or if you're "shaky," you could solder on a pigtail and attach to that.
Pin 1 (V. Reg.) wants 6.8 volt - Pin 15 (VCC) wants 9 volts. Wink

Not a "jungle" IC as we are used to.
VIF/SIF is in above IC. I presume Video/OSD/Chroma/Def, etc. is in (at least) 2nd IC.
Even if this 2nd chip is the cause shouldn't he still be getting sound?

Thanks to both of you minnie & jts1957 for the reply, eventhough my tv is a vintage unit, i want to learn more ideas how to repair tv`s. With your help in this forum ,i`ve learned a lot with you guys. I wanted this tv to be repaired bec. its my dad gift on my my wedding day.

Let`s move again to our fault finding, i already replaced the CXA IC ,the unit have the sound output but the pic is not good, the pic has black vertical line like partition in the middle, the image is not in centered position ,image is devided into two portions in slant S position, the half from left portion went to right and the right image went to left . any idea sirs? Is this a CRT problem sir?

Did you ever get around to measuring these on the CXA1446S?
