Hello,
This TV was given to me because the previous owner said they had a power surge and the TV picture went bad.
It has good sound in TV mode, but black screen. The menu picture is perfect. when the DVD is plugged into AV1 I get good sound with a very distorted picture. Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Kevin

OSD "on screen display" is ok, video is bad. Power surges are tough ones. I'd say you have a bad signal/A/V board.

I can't find a free service manual to get a part number. Contact them, they should be able to help you.

thanks again.
I tried to contact customer support...we'll see. Sorry I spelled Olevia wrong. It's also a Syntax Olevia by the way. I think they are tied into Best Buy, who put out Insignia brand.

Really? Considering LG makes 90% of the LCD and plasma panels...
Samsung and LG are made by NAP?
