Hi,

This is my first Post here....I hope you can help me. I have a Plasma (topic),
which has the following problems: The first 5 cm's at the Top of the screen is white, the rest of the Picture is "noisy".
At first there was no function of the plasma-tv, only the standby LED was lightning red/green. Then I changed a cap on the scan(?) board and now the TV starts.
The Problem is the picture as mentioned above.

Is there anybody in the world who can help me?

By the way, i'm a radio and tv mechanic, but i'm not working in this job anymore...
and sorry for my english, it is not my natural language...

thanks

Matthias

Hi,

a little more Information. The picture ist normally inverted and there are many coloured points on the screen, like a bad antenna-signal.
The current on the 170V is about 2,8Amps, so the voltage decreases to 154V, because the powersupply normaly delivers only 1,7Amps.

Does anybody have an idea, in which direction i should seek?
The voltages on the powersupply are ok.

??

thanks

Matze
