philips blinking 8 times ?

philips 42pf7320 chassis lc4.9e

tv powers up screen on, but have blank background with no picture on screen.

sound is ok.

green led at front of tv is blinking 8 times.

anyone advize what this error code means please.

i have replaced 7c01 eeprom but made no difference.
