sony dsc-w50

Hi, I have a Sony dsc-w50. The lens seems to be jammed. I can pull on it slightly, and it goes into place, and all works fine. The camera is 3 years old, not really worth fixing for $100.00, but still a good camera. Can I fix this myself, and if so, where can I find a service manuel. I am very mechanical, and I would definitely like to try.
