| the standby/timer light stays on my sony big screen. the tv wont turn on.how do i fix it? |

Can you check if the power supply is working correctly?
E.g. do you have +B on the HOT transitor?

| Mine is doing the same thing! It got some moisture in the back from a spill (didn't go inside I think) and it stopped working. I unplugged it and let it dry out and now when it cuts on it just flashes on standby. Very annoying. |

| my sony database is over 50gb, but without knowing the model number it is useless!!!!!!!!! post the model number maybe someone can help. |
