I'm a newbee trying to fix my power adapter. I will get 19.65 volt to the computer but nothing to the charging system for the battery. I checked the e-caps on the secondary side and all appear fine. I replaced a mosfet that tested bad. Still no change. I did replace a diode and it started charging but then quit a couple days later. When I disconnected it from the board to test it, it tested fine. I've checked the continuity on my connection from the board to the adapter and its fine. Could that diode have gone bad already and still test good.? I used an analoge meter to test it. Thanks for any help.
