Need help with Samsung syncmaster 400Pnx

Hi good folks!

Got myself a samsung syncmaster 400PXn Lcd monitor but it refuses to start.... When i plug it in, and turn the power on it still is black and it sort of clicks every 2-3 sec. It sucks.

dont know if its fixeble but would love to try.

when i turn the power on at the plug it clicks the green power light on and off on its own without powering up. better desciption
