We are stuggling with a fault on this LCD tv. Switches on and works fine for about 5 mins then shut down still with the power light on green. The only way to power back up again is to unplug from the mains for a few seconds, plug back in and then it will work for another short while. |

Check the power supply for bulged capacitors, the tops of the capacitors should be flat. |

Checked them already, had a scope attached to see if there was any ripple on PSU secondary, found nothing. Doesn't give any signs when its gonna shut down either, sometimes can run for a couple of hours before it faults |

If anyone is interested, I found the fault with this TV. Chopper tx flashing over on primary causing set to go into burst mode. |

[Hi, I don't have the part number for the transformer, but there is only one transformer on the power supply..Also check for dry joints around the primary of the psu as these sets are prone to bad solder.. |
