i have a viewsonic lcd tv that will not display a picture. the set turns on and the screen comes on and looks bright from an angle, but dark from straight on. from the back of the set, white light can be seen from holes in the frame. i cant get sound from the set either. i have already replaced the inverters and got the same result. could this be the input/main board?any ideas? thanks |

Have you opened the back and looked for bulged caps on the power supply or inverters? |

5 leads on each side read 24v. 5 leads on each side dont register any voltage. 1 lead on each side reads ~2v. 1 lead on each side reads 5v. im guessing those 0v reads are wrong? i dont have a schematic |
