| Our Sony Bravia TV audio is hooked up to our Technics Stereo system with surround sound. All was well for the past year, until last weekend. While watching TV, the speaker will let out a huge crack, and the sound disappears. If we shut the whole system down, sometimes it comes back on, sometimes it takes an hour, and sometimes, the next day..... or sometimes, it doesn't do it at all for the day. Does this sound like our Amp/Receiver is gone??? It is 10 years old. Thanks |

| First what is your source? Cable box, satelite? How is it hooked up besides the surround sound? Can you hook it to the tv besides the amp? Have you unplugged the "source" to try and reset it? |

| We have cable. I took every cable off and put it back on, but my nephew hooked it up and there is just too many wires for me to make sense of. It has worked fine like this for the past year. |

| Have you tried to unplug and reset the cable box? |
