Sony FH B711 (HCD H650) No front display indicator

Hi there, My Sony unit went for in a suitcase, (had to get it to a function), When I got it there I found that the display doesn't work anymore. I opened the unit on several occasions, the most recently yesterday to replace the CD player which wasn't working. And when I did that, I had almost everything removed, so I could get to it, at the same time I examined the PCBs for cracks, I couldn't find any as for as I could see. I reconnected everything and put everything back in place and still nothing. If anyone has a solution or suggestion, I'll be happy to hear it.
