EXPLANATIONS:

X-SUS (or called also z-SUS)
and
Y-SUS are complex circuitry that are delivering impulsive energy to the
tubes in the plasma panel (Eccitation)

Video patterns are "coordinated delivered" via the buffers.

These boards (SUS) are located on the sides and are that with those big coolers
on top (Aluminium) (warm)

they are delivering high voltage (180 to 280 volts depending on panel) with
precise phisics of waveforms impulses and they are function of the
Video Digital Pre-Processing (video processing).

If you have bad X AND Y BOARDS (SUS = Sustain) you may have a broken picture or a non functional plasma TV at all. (Overload).

BE CAREFUL if you have a defective panel , even when you have a looking good picture after changing one or all SUS BOARDS you have chances to
RE-damage the boards because of internal discarging in the panel.

IS ALL AT YOUR OWN RISK !!
(repairing SUS UNITS at components level is out of any order or possibilities due to HYBRAM/HYBRID Tech you can only replace complete boards units at once)

Suggestions:

- Get service manual and study it (CAREFULLY) !!!!
---------------------------------------------------------

- Test all voltages Coming out from supply and from SUS UNITS/BOARDS
- Capacitors "looking" good SAYS NOTING / REPLACING SAYS GOOD !!!
- TRY to replace the SUS BOARDS (once at a time) and look what happens
- If you can't do the repair alone then a qualified electronic is required,
even a friend with OSCILLOSCOPE !!! is good.
------------------

- CHECK BUFFERS (X-Y, UP-DOWN).
- CHECK BAD CONNECTIONS (FLAT CONNECTORS).

(I think is not a panel related problem. )

NO !!!! ('Confused')

PANEL IS THE LAST THING TO TEST !!!

FOLLOW THIS ORDER:

CHECK:

1)- SUPPLY LINES & SUPPLY UNIT !!!

2)- SUS BOARDS (I Think here is the problem) find one functional and try it one at a time

3)- BUFFERS (They may responsible for vertical lines)

3a)- CONNECTIONS BETWEEN BUFFERS & PANEL & OTHER PANELS/BOARDS
(Try to pull out and then in ... 2 or 3 times to clean contacts)

4)- PROCESSING DOMAINS BOARDS.

This is a correct way:
Checking Single Parts/Boards one at a time. ('Very Happy')

NOT.... 4 3 2 1 BUT Follow 1, 2, 3, 4. !!!('Very Happy')

.

Try first to find functional replacements parts for testing purposes
then follow the order aforementioned --------> 1 2 3 4 !!!

YOU HAVE NO OTHER WAYS TO DO IT YOURSELF !!! !!! !('Smile')
