Hello, I have a JVC DVD Player model XV-N312S and is stucked in Standby mode (Red LED On). Is Imposible to turn it on from the front panel nor from the remote, all the power supply voltages are Ok.
I really need help, I live in Cuba and we don´t have here any service centre available.

try soldering on the smd componence on the main board including
the microprocessor, clean the board.

Hello
You must meter output lines of power supply unit and check that their values being true (as standby voltages )
and check the rear of board for any cold solder and crack of board or solder
