my rca big screen tv

my rca big screen tv just sounds an alarm when plugged in..no picture
sounds like a fire alarm....

Please check if there is a short in the high voltage circuit on the main pcb.
(probably a shorted high voltage driver-transitor)

You're primairy power supply will startup, detect a secundairy short, and shuts down again, then starts up again etc.. This could be the cause of the high pitching noise you hear!

if its a PTK195 check the horizontal output and if its bad replace it and the flyback. known issue with these rca sets.
