Yesterday I was trying to fix the dimensions on my tv set (Tv had about an inch of the picture cut off on all sides regardless of the settings). (Sanyo 32" widescreen Vizon DP32746). I went into the service menu and couldn't find any values that affected the picture. I got to one with an OP1 in the title and changed it to a high value just then someone came to my door and I left it like this. I came back a few seconds later and nothing would change. I turned off the tv and turned it back on but I didn't get a picture just static through the speakers. I pushed the channel up button and it went away and I am unable to get a static sound again. I searched all over the net and found a service manual for the next model up and it told me that OP1 was not to be changed. Is there any hope of getting back to the service menu and restoring the setting I changed or a way of resetting it? It isn't a power supply failure I have an optical cable plugged in in the back and I see a red light coming through it when the tv is on.

you will need to replace the eeprom with a preprogrammed one from the manufacturer or authorised supplier.
