I have an RCA model 36V550T, screen just went black, still have sound but no picture. Turn it off then back on and picture comes back briefly before going black screen again. Today after being off all night, turned it on and watched TV all day....then just a minute ago it lost picture again. Tried to turn off then on agin and no picture. Cant even get the onscreen menu to appear nothing.

Any Ideas? Parts? could I fix it myself, pretty good with soldering ect....just need to now the probable cause and fix.

hi! try to replace or short the resistor from heater to crt board..10v ac..came to flyback ang resolder also the crt board..Smile
