ive got a sharp lc-20s1e tv its stuck in st/by light flashes when remote used but no illumination 12v and 5v supplies both up no fuses o/c can anyone help

Hi.

Assuming you have checked and re-soldered or changed SMD ferrites between DC input Jack and on/off switch.

The TV shold start in service mode only: Switch-off, plug-in power supply, hold "Menu" and "TV/VCR" keys on TV while switching on.
LED turns green screen comes on with a "K" in top left corner.

Press simultaneously "Vol-" and "CH-" on TV, go through service mode to clear error buffer, then put to standby.

I hope that does the trick...

I've been having the same problem with my sharp aquos lc-20S1e.
Thanks for this advice, I done exactly whay you said and its got the sound working but the TV is still blank. Do you have any idea what this could be?
