I bought a new remote control for Nordmende IMC72 Prestige. Since it was not an original remote I needed to search for a right code manually and unfortunatelly enough entered SERVICE MODE. Manuals for the tv are long gone. Can anybody describe the procedure of exiting the service mode?
Link to the usres manual would also be of great help.

The solution of my problem was removal of the CPU ( HD404919 ). Easy to locate visually in the middle of the main board. For the removal I grounded
myself to the TV set ground and used a soft plastic screwdriver in order not to damage the processor. Once out of the base I put the HD404919 onto a moist
piece of fine cloth for a period of some 15 minutes. Than I reinstalled it back to it's base. It worked, the poor devil forgot everything and I was able to use the TV in a normal matter again and it works like nothing happened. If You need to repeat this procedure there are only two things to be aware of:
beware of statics and do not touch the connectors of the CPU with anything that conducts.
