LG 42V6 42" plasma

I have a LG 42V6 42" plasma TV in for repair that is proving to be a bit of a pain.
It originally came in with vertical lines up the image which was bad solder connections on SMD resistors on the X flexi ribbon cables from the panel. After testing it was returned to the customer. Now its come back with the image flashing rapidly whenever the image has large bright areas, when the image darkens the flashing stops.
I`ve changed a couple of caps on the X-left board and repaired broekn solder joints on the PSU, X-SUS and Z-SUS boards to no avail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
