Phillips 28PW6332/05 Software Protection

I've spent a while narrowing down the problem with this TV. One day it shut off and started continuously squeeking with the power LED continuously flashing in synch with the squeeks. I can't get it into the service mode - i.e. it keeps on squeeking when I short the two service mode pins together.

From the service manual I've deduced that it's in Software protection and either SDA/SCL shorted (what are they?) or No +5Db or +8Sc at microcontroller.
The control part of the power supply is working properly.
I can't find where the +5Db and +8Sc are to probe and see if they are correct or not.

Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated as I've run out of ideas.

An update this morning:
I discovered that the capacitor is position 2420 has a resistance of only 5 Ohms. Removed it and it's got a nice brown hole in it! Now I've just got to find a suitable replacement and see if that will fix it.
