Hello,
Im posting from the netherlands where i own a samsung rear projection tv
two days ago the tv is showing a curve in top half caused by the green light (or maby the electronics behind it?).
How te screen looks now.

I would like to ask what u guys think about my tv.
i read in some threads that a specific IC can be bad and others tell me the light is bad.
Make / model: Samsung SP43W6HE
ohh before i forget the tv keeps shutting off after this happand so something is overheating. <br>i cleaned the whole tv removed all the dust i can find so that sould be fine now did not test it yet i am not sure if its ok to power it up in this state. |

Be easier to tell with a picture of a "picture" on the screen, but one of the usual problems for these are bad convergence IC(s), open or changed value bias resistor(s) and check the power sources to this circuit. _________________ You're over there, I'm over here. |

checking the power supply is no problem.

Believe uses three CRT technology, Not lamps. _________________ You're over there, I'm over here. |

I believe you will determine they ARE CRTs (Cathode Ray Tubes), Not lamps.
They project light onto a mirror which reflects the image onto the screens. _________________ You're over there, I'm over here. |

Sorry, but can you point me in the right direction where to find the convergence IC(s).
and to the STK392-110's. not even sure what the are.
i really dont have much experience on tv's but my electonics skills arent to bad work alot whit computers and motor's etc.
so if you can get me started about where and how to check these components i will be very greatfull.
The following image can help pin point the parts.
