The soldering around the regulators is a stock fault-you may also have to resolder the field op ic and also check the soldering on the set ht preset.....

I am suffering with similar problems, I am getting a lot of crackling, wheezes and pops out of the right speaker. I am suspecting a dry joint.
Maybe someone could mail me the pdf for this TV or any advice to:
[email protected]
Many Thanks

Richard.
I retired from this job long ago, as willow vale electronics moved north, but have a need for the service manual for the Hitachi C28WD2TN, I suspect its a A7 chassis, would you happen to have it still. If so can you send it to [email protected]. please remove the 99 from my addy for the correct one.
Regards and thanks

Hi there guys, this seems to be a recurring theme with these televisions and unfortunately mine has the fault too!!!
If someone could forward on the service PDF file which is going around I'd really appreciate it - just to give me some idea where to start
As with most of these types of problems it's bound to be something stupidly simple - but sod's law says it's going to be the last thing you check.
My email address is [email protected] (yakspeed at hotmail dot com) and any information will be greatfully received.
Thanks in advance Dave. |

Hello all.
I have encountered with the same problems with this TV.
Could anyone send me the PDF that was noticed here?
I will be grateful!
And somebody said here that it was a problem with dry joints. I am not a native english and can't understand this term. As I understand, it is some contact that should be soldered but it does not. Or it is something else?
Thanks in advance. _________________ Amodeus |
