Goodmans LD1575D TV

I have a Goodmans LD1575D (just out of warrantee - ofcourse!) and picture goes black (in a second) after initial successful start with good picture; channel/sound stays on. So can't be tuning. Can you help? Thanks. Martin.

Hi,

I also have a LD1575D tv and when switched on with the cable connected, it initially stays blank and then occasionally flashes something on the screen and goes blank again.

I managed to catch a glimpse of one flash, and it was the yes or no option on searching for channels or something.

So, which window should I throw it out of - the bathroom or the bedroom?

Wouldn't throwing it out the "picture" window make more sense?
