SONY DVD/VCR Schematics (inside)

I have a new sony player than someone has decided to remove the top to remove a tape. I have to fix it however I have no idea what the insides especially the area around the big black plastic wheel on the outside of the VCR side is suppose to look like. There appears to be a metal lever which attaches to wheel but I can't discern what the semicircular open end is suppose to hook to..Thanks
