1 thru 5 = nothing
7 = nothing
8 = what I described about in above post. It will very quickly change volume to 32 (about half of the volume scale on the screen) and the TV turns off. I turn it back on and it defaults back to channel 1. I change it to channel 3, which is what channel my satellite receiver is setup on. The video on the screen flips very quickly vertically and horizonally and the picture is faint looking. Its like trying to watch a scrambled channel on a old satellite dish back in the day. Thats the only way I can describe it. |

I turned the tv on to the "6" option to see if the CRT ON zeros change. I did not see a change in these numbers. They stayed all zeros. Approx. 15 to 20 min, the TV auto turned off. Maybe if I kept pushing buttons on the remote to reset the timer it would not have turned off. But I will have to try this tomorrow. It is getting late and need to get some sleep. I will let you know, but I appreciate any information you may find on this. If we can't figure it out somehow, may be easier to take it to a local repair shop. Thank you for your help and if you come up with anything for me to try, let me know. Thanks again... |

Anyone have an idea on this problem? Surely someone has ran across this or knows what happened at least... |

Omg omg i figured it out!!! Insted of holding the number on your remote you need to repeatedly press it rapidly in the vchip cancle screen when ur on a blocked channel. You also need to hold te voloume - button while doing that. Btw. The number 0 worked for me )))) |
