Power supply went dead - quote to repair too high

Hello. The power supply in my unit went dead and I got a quote to repair it that is too high for me. Can anyone give me an idea how I could get this done cheaper? What if I buy the part online (I need to find the part number) then where do I find someone who would know how to install the new power supply? Thank you for your help, times are tough and every dollar count

Wouldn't be surprised that whatever it is, it's probable that manufacturer's "Top-of-the line" unit.
