T.V. won't turn on at times

I have a 32" zenith t.v. about 6 years old. Sometimes it won't turn on. No noise or anything. Absolutely nothing. I've tried the button on the set and the remote. Everything else pluggrd in the same place works fine. I even plugged the set in a different place and no help. Any help would be appreciated.

I assume it turns on now and again?
Depends on various factors is the standby led lit?
if not the power pack on the primary side of switch mode transformer is a suspect ,electrolytic caps "dry out"and are temperature sensitve
if it is lit you could have dry joints in the line stage or the set may be experiencing over current conditions and the trip could be activating
Sorry to be so vague but their really is a lot of avenues to explore with intermittent faults like yours

Stating that it's a 32" Zenith is too vague for much of any response. What's the model number or chassis number or board numbers. If you're a tech, you've surely checked and or replaced the feedback caps in the primary side of the power supply?
