Any experience with BAPCO IEC601L Universal?

Using a BAPCO IEC601L Universal Safety Tester for Leakage Current tests. Recently back from Calibration and Unit reports a warning to turn the unit off. Buttons are unresponsive. Does anyone have experience with these units? The internet has proved a dissapointment on this one. No documentation and the Manufacturer is gone. Im at the point of opening the units and breaking the tamper seals in hopes of finding something obvious..... thus voiding the calibration we just paid for...
