Electrical connections in humidifier

I have a Essick-Bemis H12 001 humidifier. It was in great need of a
thorough cleaning.......somehow through the process I managed to disconnect one wire.
That wire is direct from the (plug into the house) AC power supply.
I have found owner's manuals-they are of no help in this situation.

Can any of you with infinite wisdom find a wiring schematic? I have wasted hours upon hours trying to find a diagram. And the company 800 number person was not helpful to say the least(bad mood-or something!).
